The current ElkaSoft website code sets no cookies and uses no local or session storage. Its custom statistics do not rely on tracking cookies.
What this website currently uses
There are no ElkaSoft login cookies, advertising cookies, analytics cookies or persistent visitor IDs in the current website code. It does not write to localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. Fonts, artwork and scripts are served with the site.
Browsers may cache images and other resources for faster loading. A normal resource cache is different from a tracking cookie.
Cloudflare security cookies
Cloudflare can use strictly necessary security or challenge cookies when a protection feature is active or a challenge is shown. For example, a clearance cookie can remember that a browser passed a challenge. Such cookies depend on the request and security configuration; this policy does not mean that every visitor receives them.
ElkaSoft does not use those cookies to build advertising profiles. Cloudflare explains the cookie names, purposes and lifetimes in its security-cookie documentation.
Statistics without tracking cookies
The site uses its own small collector for aggregate page and outbound-link counts. No cookie or browser-storage identifier is used for that collector. It honours Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Read the Privacy Policy for the data involved, its purpose and retention.
Cookies on other services
Following a link to GitHub, Microsoft Store, Discord or Ko-fi takes you to a service with its own cookie and privacy settings. Those services may set cookies when you visit them. Their cookies are not set by ElkaSoft’s own website code.
Controls and future changes
You can inspect, block or remove cookies through your browser settings. Blocking security cookies may cause repeated challenges or prevent access when a protection feature requires them.
If optional cookies or similar storage are introduced later, this policy must be updated and a choice offered before they are used wherever consent is required. Merely continuing to browse is not treated as consent to future optional tracking.
